Horizons Project

Rugby CAB is one of a number of bureaux across the country involved in the Horizons Programme which was launched in July 2005 and funded by Barclaycard. The Programme aims at helping lone parents to manage their finances, getting out of debt as well as offering support with parenting, getting back to work and enrolling on education courses.

Horizons is an initiative launched by Barclaycard that brings together the skills and esperience of four national charities: Citizens Advice, Family Welfare Association. One Parent Families and Parentline Plus.       

The Citizens Advice Service is a network of charities that help people resolve their legal, money and other problems.

 Family Welfare Association offers practical and emotional support, grants, and provides advice and funding for further education and training in England. For further details see their website www.fwa.org.uk
